Get to Know Low-Moisture Carpet Cleaning

The Role of Carpet Pre-Treating

After thoroughly inspecting your carpets, we zero in on where and what the soils are...

Carpet soils types will fall into one of three categories:

  • Organic soils - those that come from food sources, or the urine or excrement of body waste.
  • Inorganic soils - those that are from just dragged-in dirt, foot traffic from outside where common soil has become embedded in the carpet fibers
  • A blend of the two - when carpets are particularly dirty and neglected, yet still cleanable.

We can deal with them all!

When the soil is predominately organic, we will use a combination of digestive enzymes and benevolent bacteria to break down the organic matter with the enzymes, which allows the benevolent microbes to consume the organic particles, convert them into odorless gas and be pulled up with the cleaning process. But wait, there's more!

Why a FloorPros Low-Moisture Carpet Cleaning Works Better

It's the combination of chemical and mechanical actions:

Synergy Soil Break
Synergy Capture

Our Superior Carpet Cleaning Chemistry:

  • Synergy Soil Break - Used as a pre-spray treatment for your entire carpet, this highly concentrated product both absorbs odors and breaks the bond of soil from the surface of carpet fibers. When diluted it is clear, odorless and unscented so as not to mask the odors that must be removed from the carpets in order to deem them 'clean'.
  • Synergy Capture- Used as a conditioner for the cleaning water, or better yet, a condition for the carpet bonnet pad, this highly concentrated solution triggers a beautiful chemical reaction with Soil Break to convert everything into micro-bubbles that left and suspend the soil so the bristles can 'knock it out' of your carpets and the bonnet can capture and carry the soil away.
  • What's Left at the End - With our system, you can be assured of having exceptionally clean and odor-free carpets without the detergent residue left behind by traditional and truck-mount extraction cleaning programs.

The Power of Bristles PLUS Bonnets:

  • Bristles for Soil Breaking - Our carpet cleaning driver has soft, yet very durable nylon bristles that are like golf clubs at a driving range, thousands of golf clubs lifting the soil particles out from between your carpet fibers and into the cleaning solution.
  • Bonnets for Capturing and Containing the Suspended Soils - Unlike traditional carpet bonnets, each of our have four leading edges that allow the fibers to dig deeper into the carpet weave and grab and capture the soil. The bonnets are pre-moistened with Synergy Capture to render them even more attractive to the soil.
  • What's Left in the End - The bonnets, being flipped, removed and changed frequently during the process you with cleaner, drier carpets.

When is Portable Extraction Required?

Using Portable Extractors to Rinse and Repeat Until Fully Flushed...

There may be occasions when box and portable extractors are absolutely necessary:

  • Copious Amounts of Dog or Cat Urine - We understand that you don't always have control over the floors you have inherited. Homes where dogs or cats may have been trapped or neglected can often have copious amounts of urine in the fibers that will take repeated treatments with enzymes followed by rinse after rinse with clear water.
  • Badly Embedded Tobacco Ash and Soot - Similarly, you may be a property manager with tenants that ignored the rules and smoked 'like a chimney' leaving behind badly embedded tobacco ash and soot, with its sticky tar that makes soot adhere like glue. When this happens, the only solution is repeated flushes with Soil Break and clear water to break down and remove the soil before the final cleaning.
  • A Bad Build-Up of Past Detergent Residue - Finally, other contractors can sometimes be the problem, having ignored the logic of detergent chemistry and allowed for a serious build-up of high pH detergent residue that attracts soils. This also will mandate a flush-rinse.
